United Methodist Men

An important part of the lay ministry of Trinity UMC, the United Methodist Men (UMM) provides a way for the men of the church to be in fellowship and spiritually support one another, to help maintain their connection with the church, and to provide assistance to others when needed.

Meetings of the UMM are normally held at the church on the third Sunday of each month from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. Following a light breakfast (provided on a volunteer basis), the meetings include a devotion and discussion on topics such as current service projects, fund raisers, community needs, and other concerns.

The UMM currently supports a young Guatemalan boy (through Compassion International) on a regular basis. We also plan and carry out a quarterly, one-day work project to repair the home of a needy family. These projects are scheduled through United Way's Project Vision. In addition, we provide funds or services in other areas to meet specific needs as they arise.
