Our Mission

The mission of the Trinity Church website is to:

(1) Glorify God;

(2) Encourage people from all walks of life to worship, fellowship, heal, serve, and grow with us in our faith relationship with Jesus Christ; and

(3) Serve as a resource for friends and members of Trinity Church to share ideas, concerns, and resources.

Prayer Concerns

     Prayer has a place of highest priority in the Bible.  Some of the Scriptures' most transcendent passages deal with prayers expressing praise, worship, thanksgiving, confession, and supplication.  Philippians 4:6 reads, "In everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God."

     Prayer strengthens our relationship with God and with one another.  Because a Christian is one who has been born into the family of God, it is as natural to pray to God as it is for a child to ask a parent for the things he or she needs.

     One prayer that delights God is one that is sometimes called "the sinner's prayer" and is found in Luke 18:13.  It reads, "God, be merciful to me as a sinner!"

A Few Reminders

Prayer is for God's children and God.  Being the loving Father that He is, God always hears us when we pray.

Prayer by a Christian is never unanswered.  God's response might be "yes," "no," or "wait," but it is never unanswered.

It is also good to remember that God is moved by prayer and, depending upon the situation, shares your heartache as well as joy.

Prayer should (must) be offered in faith and confidence, emanates from an obedient heart, we are to pray in Christ's name, we must desire God's will, and our prayers must be for God's glory.

Trinity Church Prayer Chain

     Trinity Church is blessed with a large group of people that comprise what we call the Prayer Chain.  If you desire the Prayer Chain to pray for any specific need, please contact the church office (648-4990), Joye Brotherton (648-6426), or Jim Kannenberg (649-5407).

     When you prayer, please remember to pray for Christ's church, your local church, our national leaders, all your relationships, people in need, and your own needs.
