United Methodist Youth

Come and enjoy the fun, fellowship and, yes, the food at Trinity United Methodist’s Youth Ministry. Sunday nights we fellowship at 5:00 p.m., study, enjoy some tasty snacks followed by games and recreation. We meet on Wednesday night for a family dinner at 6:00 p.m., devotion at 6:45 and recreation at 7:15. Our staff consist of several college-age helpers and four adult leaders all lead by our Youth Minister, Donnie Bates. Our goal is to teach all young people Biblical principles, how to function in their family units, as well as how to cope and react to societies situations.

Some of the missions we support are Salkehatchie Summer Service, Chrysalis Flights and Epiphany.

Yearly retreats consist of:
A 3-day, 2-night ski trip (pictured above and right)
A 2-day, 1-night Senior-High White Water Rafting Trip

Day trips include:
Six Flags over Georgia or Carowinds
Hunting Island State Park
Laser Tag
Bowling
